The Kildonan
Cannery Lodge is an ideal starting point for hikers.
Definitely a highlight is a walk through the rain
forest, that begins right behind the lodge. Imagine
your self in the midst of an ancient old growth forest
with huge branches covered with mosses and ferns sparkling
full of life.

A little hobbit trail
leads up the hill right besides Sweet Water Creek.
This little waterfall also produces the electricity
of the lodge. From the top of the hill the hiker has
a marvelous view over the Uchucklesaht Inlet.
